Shaping before merging

An easy way to shape glass before fusing. Glass clay is a form of malleable/moldable glass that is composed of ground colored glass and organic (non-toxic) binders. By working with glass clay, shapes can be made that cannot (easily) be achieved with carving.

Not too hot...
Tip! Do not fire glass clay too hot, as soon as the glow is visible in the HotPot opening, check every 20 seconds whether the glass is fused, when glass clay gets hot it loses its shape faster
